Perdomo cigars have become one of the most popular brands in the world today after a long and arduous journey that began in Cuba by family patriarch Silvio Perdomo who first launched the brand in the 1930s.
After much success, the original Perdomo cigars ended when the US trade embargo with n Cuba, made Cuban cigars illegal to sell in the United States.
The brand was reinvented by Silvio’s grandson Nick Perdomo. Starting out as "Nick's Cigar Co." in 1992, Nick Perdomo, a former U.S Navy veteran, and air traffic control, always had a deep love of cigars and his rich cigarmaking lineage. Starting out on tight budget, Nick made his first cigars in his garage in Miami, Florida with the help of his wife Janine.
The overwhelming success of his original offerings allowed him the opportunity to launch his first cigar factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, where this operation has grown into a modern facility producing one top-rated blend after another, many of which have earned 90-plus ratings.
