Although technically classified as Ligero, they can be found in only 15% of the plants. These leaves remain on the plant for a longer period compared to the other leaves, exposed to the sun for an extended time, which triggers a process of early maturation. This prolonged aging contributes to the unique characteristics of Medio Tiempo, which is why it is used exclusively in the finest and rarest cigars.
